My store won’t show up in MySpace! What’s going on?
Due to the free-for-all nature of layouts in MySpace profiles, there are several situations that can cause your Cartfly store to be missing in action on your MySpace profile. Often times, this is caused by buggy layout code. If your store isn’t appearing in your MySpace profile, try pasting it in a different box in your profile, or try selecting a different layout.
Why do I see this message now during checkout on MySpace? It says, "You are about to leave MySpace.com."
This is a feature of MySpace that was implemented to prevent malicious users from redirecting MySpace users to sites that might try to gather personal information while pretending to be MySpace. It is not an error message, just a warning that MySpace displays to all users who are about to leave MySpace. There is no way around it at this time.
When people try to checkout from my store on MySpace™, they have to copy and paste an address and checkout again from Cartfly.com. Why?
Incorrect share code in your profile is the most common cause for users receiving this message. The first thing you should do is check to make sure that you have selected "MySpace Profile" as the destination in your share tab before copying and pasting the code into MySpace™. If you have the correct code, the problem is most likely in the code for the MySpace™ profile layout you’ve chosen. To confirm that the problem is with your layout, try pasting the store into a different section of your layout, and experiment with some different layouts to see if checkout works with them. Continue reading for more background information on the issue.
For security purposes, MySpace™ doesn’t allow Adobe Flash™ files (your store is an Adobe Flash™ file) to contain working links. Because of this, we have to work some magic that allows the buyer to be linked to Paypal for checkout. Due to the free-for-all nature of layouts in MySpace™ profiles, there are several situations that can cause that link to Paypal to break. Often times, this is caused by buggy layout code. When your users see this message, it means that the Cartfly store has detected an error that prevented the link to Paypal, and it is giving the buyer a url to checkout successfully. Unfortunately, the store can’t magically fix the layout code.
